Student International Climate Action Internship Programme (3+1 Months)
The Student International Climate Action Internship (3+1 Months) is designed to promote climate change advocacy, enable real and measurable climate action, and contribute towards achieving national Net Zero goals. The programme provides students with practical exposure to sustainability challenges while encouraging responsible consumption behaviours and climate leadership within their communities.
The programme will be fully managed and administered by Invosystems, with no additional administrative workload required from the coordinating educators or the educational institution. Participating students are expected to spend approximately 30 minutes per week on internship-related activities, making participation simple, flexible, and easy to integrate alongside their academic commitments.
Programme Commencement and Duration
The programme will commence at the start of a month, for example 1st May, 1st June, or 1st July, and will run for a total duration of four months (3 +1 months).
During this period, students will:
Attend introductory live webinars, conducted 1–2 weeks prior to the start of the programme.
Undertake a guided project to achieve a 5% reduction in household electricity consumption over a three-month period.
Complete a simple quiz-based assessment (approximately 30–60 minutes via the PlanetSustain Mobile App) in the fourth month.
Programme Outcomes and Certifications
Students and educators will gain real-world experiential learning in climate action and sustainability practices and will be eligible to receive the following certifications and recognitions:
Climate Action Internship Certificate for participating students.
Sustainability Quiz Ranking Certificate for students based on assessment performance.
PlanetSustain Educational Mentor Certificate for participating educators serving as programme coordinators.
